What’s on my desk?
As an author, one of the most important pieces of hardware I need is a really good keyboard. I use Apple computers, and the Apple keyboards are pretty great, but my current typing companion is the Logitech MX Keys for Mac.
It has backlit keys that react to the ambient lighting conditions in the room, and ergonomic, finger-shaped depressions. It’s nice and quiet, unlike a lot of mechanical keyboards (I’ve used many), and the laptop-style means that I can transition from desktop to laptop without needing much adjustment.
It’s also finished in space grey, the same as my Mac (more on that in another email).
I’ve written many books on this very keyboard and it has held up well to the punishment!
